XAVIER COLLEGE PREPARATORY PARTNERS WITH SAKS FIFTH AVENUE TO HOST ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP FASHION SHOW BENEFITING STUDENTS IN NEED

The Mothers’ Guild of Xavier College Preparatory will host the school’s annual Scholarship Fashion Show on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix Hotel. This year’s show, “Dream”, will feature a Saks Fifth Avenue spring preview with Saks models and Xavier students from the Class of 2009 walking the runway in the season’s most compelling apparel and accessories.

“This is our signature social and fundraising event and we’re especially thrilled to have the new Sheraton Downtown Phoenix as our venue,” said Xavier parent and event chairwoman Sabrina Nikel. “More than a thousand guests will join us to benefit the Xavier Scholarship Fund, which provides many young women the opportunity to be empowered by a Xavier education. We can’t thank our many generous supporters enough, especially Saks Fifth Avenue and Arizona Foothills Magazine, for their tremendous support.”

“We are excited to continue this community partnership that benefits so many deserving young women,” said Dave Dodge, Saks Public Relations Director for the Phoenix store.

“This fashion show is unique because all Xavier seniors are invited to participate,” said Xavier parent and event co-chairwoman Diane Olsen. “It is really a very special day for the girls thanks to Saks.”
