SAKS FIFTH AVENUE READIES FOR “DREAM”, 2009 XAVIER FASHION SHOW

Saks Fifth Avenue hosted “Backstage Pass” with Xavier College Preparatory students and their mothers on January 21. This 3rd annual gathering is the kick-off to Xavier’s largest fundraiser for student scholarship, the Xavier Mothers’ Guild Scholarship Fashion Show.

Families enjoyed a special evening that included delectable munchies from The Capital Grille, gifts from Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, music by Doug Borrmann and freshly adorned designs by Arcadia Flowers. Saks provided exclusive shopping passes and a portion of all sales were donated back to the Xavier Scholarship Fund.

Xavier’s 2009 Scholarship Fashion Show, “Dream”, will take place on Sunday, March 15 at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix Hotel. This year’s show will feature a Saks Fifth Avenue spring preview with Saks models and Xavier students from the Class of 2009 walking the runway in the season’s most compelling apparel and accessories.
